We are excited to announce that our client, Spafax — a leading provider of inflight entertainment content — has partnered with Blokur, a subsidiary of Music Reports® that leverages new technologies to simplify music rights management. Spafax uses Blokur's music publishing clearance integration with Tuned Global’s music tech platform to streamline music rights clearances and playlisting, enhancing the passenger experience.

Tuned Global announced its partnership with the leading travel media network, Spafax, in March 2024. Spafax’s clients include Emirates, Qatar Airways, IAG (British Airways, Iberia and Aer Lingus), Lufthansa Group (Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian Airlines, Discover Airlines and Edelweiss), and Air Canada.

Blokur's music rights automation technology and extensive music database, integrated into Tuned Global's content management system, playlisting tools and music curation interfaces, simplify the process of securing both label and publisher rights and music programming for music used in inflight entertainment. 

This partnership ensures that airlines can offer fully compliant music content, minimising risk and allowing them to focus on delivering a high-quality entertainment experience for their passengers.

By automating the complex music rights clearance process, Spafax's programming team can now dedicate more time to creating engaging playlists and curating fresh audio content, ultimately enhancing the inflight entertainment experience for passengers.
