Tuned Global has been named the Music Technology (MusicTech) category winner at the 2026 Global Tech Awards, chosen from hundreds of entries across 10 countries. The award recognises the Music Cloud platform's work helping businesses across music streaming, aviation, retail, telco, gaming, kids tech and connected devices build licensed, rights-compliant music experiences that are genuinely engaging and intelligent.

Tuned Global, the Music Cloud platform for businesses building music experiences, today announced it has won the Music Technology category at the 2026 Global Tech Awards, an international programme recognising innovation and excellence in technology across more than 100 categories. Season 1 of the 2026 awards drew hundreds of entries from tech companies and professionals across 10 countries, with 45 winners named across 37 categories.
Announcing the season's winners, Global Tech Awards said the honourees reflected "extraordinary progress being made across all areas of technology."
The win recognises the breadth of the Music Cloud platform, which goes well beyond licensing and rights management. On top of the catalogue access, rights governance and APIs that make licensed music possible in the first place, the platform gives businesses AI-driven discovery, music intelligence, personalisation and user engagement tools that turn that music into a genuine part of the product experience. That combination supports DSPs and streaming services, as well as the growing number of non-DSP businesses building music into their products, from airlines and retailers to telcos, games, connected devices and kids technology.
The recognition follows a few years of expansion for Tuned Global, including the acquisitions of Pacemaker, an AI DJ and mixing technology, and Figaro.ai, a music intelligence company whose audio classification technology now underpins the platform's AI tagging and metadata capabilities. Both acquisitions reflect a deliberate focus on production-ready innovation grounded in real commercial use cases, rather than experimental features built in isolation.
Tuned Global Founder and Managing Director Con Raso said the award reflected the team's focus on solving real problems for businesses building music experiences, not just delivering licensed content.
"Being recognised by the Global Tech Awards means a lot to our team, because it validates an approach we've held for years: build production-ready infrastructure that solves real licensing, rights and engagement problems, not features that look good in a demo," he said.
"Music is showing up in more places than ever, in aircraft cabins, retail stores, telco bundles, games and children's devices, and every one of those businesses needs the same things: clean catalogue access, rights governance they can trust, and the intelligence and engagement tools to turn music into a genuine part of the product experience. This award recognises the platform we've built to make that possible, and marks where we're taking it next, deeper into AI-driven discovery, intelligent mixing and creator-led experiences."
Tuned Global said its next phase of development will focus on expanding AI-driven discovery, intelligent mixing and creator-led experiences, alongside deeper integration across the health, gaming, telco, aviation and automotive sectors it already serves.
